Gabriel and Anastasia's Story

Please help bring Gabriel and Anastasia Hunkovic home! Gabriel and Anastasia are US Born American Citizens who were abducted, by their Mother on February 25th, 2010. She then flew to Trinidad on February 26th,2010 in direct violation of a Maryland, US court order! They have been held there for almost three years now. Their Father, Stan Hunkovic Jr, has full custody of his children and yet, has been blocked from having access to them.

We are raising awareness of this growing problem in the USA. Please, please share this with your friends and family! We need to bring national attention to keep our children safe.

Please write to your Congressman, Senators, and the State Department and express deep concern regarding this issue. Stan is one of many fathers who are experiencing this hardship in our country. Also see: http://bringseanhome.org/

If you would like to contribute to the mounting legal fees, Stan’s contact information is listed on the right side of this page and there is a chip- in wizard application, as well, on the right side of the page.

Most importantly, we need people to share this information and pray for these innocent children. Stan Hunkovic has been firefighter and paramedic in Maryland for 23 years. Please help in any way you can, to get these children back to a Father who loves them dearly!

An Update on my fight to bring Gabriel and Anastasia home

Hello Family and Friends,

On February 26th, 2010 my two US born children Gabriel & Anastasia Hunkovic were abducted out of the country  knowingly,  in direct violation of a Maryland , US Court Order. They're Non-custodial mother absconded them to the country of her origin Trinidad and Tobago.  She has completely cut off all tie's to my children despite numerous court orders in both countries demanding otherwise.
I have since that time consistently been battling to bring them back back home to the country of their birth!
The courts in Trinidad have been made aware of the plight of my children but continue to hold them as "Wards" despite the fact that I have had full custody of them both.
Now the Family courts of Trinidad & Tobago have created a total black out of all information regarding my children despite numerous request made by myself and my attorneys.  They are aware that I have full custody and that they were abducted in violation of a US court order.
I have petitioned all my local Congressmen, and Woman for assistance, as well as the States Department on Children's issues, NECMC, and various other governmental agencies.

We have shared the following video to the courts in Trinidad pleading for their expedient & safe return: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MB0LAVSg-yk

Still the Family Courts in Trinidad have created delay, after delay after settling to make a decision on July 9th, 2014 they again decided to delay it again until December 1st, 2014 for a 15 minutes direction hearing.

I have decided to make a massive protest before the Trinidad Embassy in Washington, DC on September 8th, 2014  From 10am-12:oo noon.

PS. All documentation of the validity of this story can be given to you at your request. Thanks again. Please bring Hunks kids home

Please help out the cause!

On February 26, 2010, Stanley Hunkovic, Jr.'s   two small children were abducted from their Maryland home, against a court order, by their mother.  Stan, a 22 year Paramedic/ FireFighter with Baltimore County, has full custody of his children.
He has been fighting to bring his U.S. BORN children back to the states for more than 2 years, so far resulting in over $90,000 in legal fees (not to mention travel and hotel costs).  Stan needs your help… to bring back soon-to-be 4 year-old Gabriel “Little Man”, and his little sister, 2 1/2 year-old Anastasia "Tweety Bird" Hunkovic.  We need to raise attorney funds to continue!
