Hello Family and Friends,
I continue in the battle for the return of my children. We most recently had a case on January 16th, 2013 asking for the return of my children through a third party, my Sister. In the hearing the Judge was officially made aware of the Contempt Order against Leah, the Facts of our Divorce in the USA; Namely that Leah started the divorce in Maryland, that she left in Direct Violation of a US court order, and that I have been granted full custody of the Children in the United States.
Leah was able earlier to argue that she did not start the divorce in the US, and that she did not know about the order not to leave the country. Now that it is a "Fact" of the divorce, by Trinidad's own Law, she can know longer deny these things. According to Trinidad's own law they must accept them as facts.
Despite these facts, the Judge still denied our petition to send the children home. I do not as of yet know all the details of the oral order by this judge and my lawyers are still deciphering the technical aspects. The Judge has YET to decide custody in Trinidad! Keeping the children as wards of Trinidad! Our hope was that she would recognize that Maryland has jurisdiction and would unilaterally enforce it in Trinidad. Thus far she has not!
I need your help! A very dear Friend, my brother from another Mother ,Charles Watson, has taken it upon himself to start writing to the Media on my children's behalf. If you know anyone, or know anyone who knows someone in the National Media, that will help cover the plight of my children please, please share their story of how they were abducted! Search your hearts for the right words. Someone has got to listen and get the word out.
Unfortunately, it appears that No Politicians, Statesmen/woman will take much action until the spot light is put on this issue! It wasn't until Dave Goldman's challenge with his boy was brought up on Dr. Phil, and then The Today Show that Congressman Chris Smith's wife insisted that he take up this issue. It was this and many other things that got the ball rolling for the return of his boy!
If you feel compelled in your heart to take some sort of action on my children's part please do so. Write, to the National and Local media, Congressmen, Senators, Secretary Kerry and put it in your own words. Make it simple and to the point. Just tell what ever you know about my children's situation and feel free to pass on any and all my contact information.I really do need to bring National Attention to this. The National Media would really help a great deal! I can provide all Certified Court Orders to show proof what I have been sharing.
Is it right for any country who says they care about the welfare of children to hold them from a parent who is fighting to be in their life? Is it fair for any country to deny US Born American citizens the right to know, and have access to all the US has to offer?
This February 24th will mark three years since my Children have been taken away from a Father who loves them dearly, and misses them every second of his days! February 26th, 2010 was the day that they were abducted from the country knowingly, in direct violation of a Maryland, US court order! They deserve to know how much they are loved by their Daddy!

Hello, (Please Read and Help)
My name is Charles Watson and i live in Baltimore MD. I currently work for the fire department as a EMTFF. I have been serving my community proudly for the last 5 years day in and day out. I am writing CNN on behalf of one of my first partners in the department and now my close friend Stan Hunkovic. A few years ago his kids were kidnapped illegally internationally to Trinidad by his ex wife. Stan has done countless things to have his kids returned to him. He has dealt with numerous lawyers, have done numerous fund raising events, and have exhausted so many resources to have his kids returned to him. It pains me to see my partner make international calls to Trinidad for a measly 20 mins that the Trinidad courts allow. As a new parent myself who cannot imagine going a day without seeing my wife and child he has gone over a year and a half. Stan has been a paramedic fire fighter for over 20 years in our dept. Day in and day out we give our lives for our community and ask for nothing in return. Its a thankless job with average pay. Most people can be sane by knowing they are going home to their families... but not Stan... he continues to work countless hours of overtime for lawyers and fees, while trying to maintain a home and parents that he has recently decided to accept into his home as they get there finances in order. Stan is an individual who gives his last to others and asks for nothing in return.
We are both believers in the lord Jesus Christ. We continue to pray that something will happen. Letters have been written to attorney generals and states congressmen with not much luck. Local news has also ran stories with hoping that it will draw enough attention for Trinidad to release the kids under the order that the US has already given them to do so. I believe that CNN can help in some kind of way. There has got to be another way or some kind of help that can be given. Coming from a person that does a job and ask for nothing in return, i am asking for help from the people at CNN. I am in no way shape or from trying to tug at your heart strings, I just want my partner and friend to have his kids returned to him. I am all out of ideas and hope you can help in any way shape or form.
